The Future Perfect looks at a future deadline and says: by then, this will already be DONE. Hindi feeling: ‘tab tak kar chukā hoongā’. Its signature word is BY — by Monday, by 2030, by the time you arrive.
Sentence TypeStructure + Example
Affirmative
Subject+will have+V3
By December, we will have completed the tower.
Negative
Subject+will not (won’t) have+V3
We won’t have finished by then.
Question
Will+subject+have+V3?
Will you have finished by Friday?
The golden rule: Future Perfect needs a deadline — stated or implied. No ‘by...’ moment in sight? You almost certainly want Simple Future instead. ‘I will have called him’ hangs in the air; ‘I will have called him by noon’ stands firm.
The BY test
A deadline plus completion: not later than that moment, so you stand at the deadline and look back.
Step 2
When to Use It
NOWby DiwaliPASTFUTURE

Completed before a future deadline
The classic use — with by + time.
By next Diwali, they will have handed over all the flats.
I will have sent the proposal by 6 this evening.
By 2030, the metro will have reached this sector.

Use 2

With by the time + Simple Present clause.
By the time you land, I will have booked the cab.
The paint will have dried by the time the furniture arrives.
for 25 yearsNOWnext MarchPASTFUTURE
Use 3
Duration reaching a milestone
With for — how long something will have lasted at that point.
Next March, we will have been married for twenty-five years.
By the end of this project, I will have worked in real estate for two decades.
by now?closedNOWPASTFUTURE
Use 4
Confident guesses about the present/past
A polished, advanced use — assuming something is already done.
It’s 11 p.m. — the shops will have closed by now.
You will have heard the news, I’m sure.

The time clause keeps the Simple Present; only the main clause carries will have + V3.
Step 3
Hindi Concept Note
अHindi Concept Noteहिंदी में समझिए

दिसंबर तक हम काम पूरा कर चुके होंगे।
By December, we will have completed the work.
जब तक तुम पहुँचोगे, मैं खाना बना चुकी हूँगी।

Common Mistakes Hindi Speakers Make
Wrong
Right
Why
By Monday, I will finish the report. (Meaning: done before Monday)
By Monday, I will have finished the report.
‘By + deadline’ + completion Future Perfect, not Simple Future.
She will have complete the course by June.
She will have completed the course by June.
Will have + V3 — the verb must be in past participle form.
By the time you will arrive, we will have left.
By the time you arrive, we will have left.
No ‘will’ in the time clause — the Chapter 11 rule, again.
I will have went home by 8.
I will have gone home by 8.
V3 = gone. Will have + went is double past — impossible.
They will had finished the work by now.
